Well Architected Review
Implement architectural best practices to design and operate secure, reliable, efficient, cost-effective cloud systems. Start improving your cloud architecture now.
What is Well Architected Review?
It is an assessment designed to help you review how much your architecture aligns with cloud best practices. It also gives you essential information on the state of your applications and workloads.
Benefits of conducting a WAR
Pillars
These are the pillars to improve your cloud architecture:
Ability to support the development and run workloads efficiently, gain insight into operations, and continually improve supporting processes and procedures to deliver business value.
Ability to leverage cloud technologies to protect data, systems, and assets in a way that can improve your security position.
Ability of a system to recover from infrastructure or service interruptions quickly, respond dynamically to demand, and mitigate interruptions.
Ability to efficiently use computing resources to meet system requirements and maintain this efficiency as demand changes and technologies evolve.
A continuous process of refinement and improvement throughout the lifecycle of a workload.
Focused on minimizing the environmental impacts of running workloads in the cloud.

Well How do we approach a Well-Architected Review?
Workload determination
Workloads can be simple, like a static website, or complex, such as microservices architectures with multiple data stores and numerous components.
Architecture review
We review workloads against AWS-recommended practices by answering a set of questions about the status of your architecture.
Analysis and delivery of results
As a result of the review, we delivered a report with the high and medium risks identified in the workload and the steps to be taken to remedy these risks. All of this is based on AWS-recommended practices.
